And Solomon built his own house thirteen years, and he completed all his house.
He built the house of the Forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits its length, fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, over four rows of pillars of cedar, and beams of cedar over the pillars.
And it was paneled with cedar above, over the ribs that were on the pillars, forty-five, fifteen to a row.
And window frames were in three rows, and window against window three times.
And all the doors and the doorposts were squared with framing, and window faced window three times.
And he made the porch of pillars: fifty cubits its length and thirty cubits its breadth; and a porch was before their face, with pillars and a canopy before their face.
And the porch of the throne, where he would judge there, the porch of justice, he made; and it was paneled with cedar from floor to floor.
And his house where he would dwell, the another court within from the house toward the porch, was of the as work; and he made a house for the daughter of pharaoh, whom Solomon took, as the porch.
All these were precious stones, cut to measure, sawn with a saw, from inside and from outside, from the foundation to the copings, and from outside to the great court.
And it was founded with precious stones, great stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.
And above were precious stones, cut to measure, and cedar.
And the great court all around had three rows of cut stone and a row of cedar beams; so too for the inner court of the house of Yahweh, and for the porch of the house.
And King Solomon sent and took Hiram from Tyre.
He was the son of a widow woman from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and knowledge to do all work in bronze; and he came to king Solomon and did all his work.
And he fashioned the two pillars of bronze: eighteen cubits the height of the one pillar, and a line of twelve cubits would go around the second pillar.
And he made two capitals of cast bronze to set on the tops of the pillars; five cubits the height of the one capital, and five cubits the height of the second capital.
Networks, the work of a network, tassels, the work of chains, belonged to the capitals that were on the top of the pillars: seven for the one capital and seven for the second capital.
And he made the pillars with rows round about, and the two networks over the one to cover the capitals which were over the head, with pomegranates; and so he made for the second capital.
And the capitals that were on the top of the pillars were lily-work in the porch, four cubits.
And the capitals over the two pillars, also from above, from against the womb which was to the side of the network; and the pomegranates were a two hundred in rows round about over the second capital.
And he raised the pillars at the porch of the temple; he raised the right pillar and called its name Jakin, and he raised the left pillar and called its name Boaz.
And over the head of the pillars was lily-work; so the work of the pillars was perished over.
And he made the sea, cast, ten cubits from its lip to its lip, round all around, and five cubits its height; and a line of thirty cubits would go around it all around.
And gourds under its lip all around were going around it, ten to the cubit, encircling the sea all around; the two rows of gourds were cast in its casting.
It stood over the two teen cattle, three turning north and three turning sea and three turning south and three turning east side, and the sea was over them from above, and all their backward house.
Its thickness was a handbreadth, and its lip was like the work of the lip of a cup, a blossom of lily; it would hold two thousand baths.
And he made the ten stands of bronze: four cubits the length of the one stand, four cubits its breadth, and three cubits its height.
And this was the work of the stand: they had rims, and the rims were between the joinings.
And over the rims which were between the joinings were lions, cattle, and cherubim, and over the joinings was a base from above; and from under the lions and the cattle were wreaths of descending work.
And four wheels of bronze were for the one stand, and axles of bronze; and its four feet had shoulders; under the basin the shoulders were cast, each beside wreaths.
And its mouth, from inside the capital and upward, was a cubit; and its mouth was round, like the work of a base, a cubit and a half; and also on its mouth were carvings; and their rims were square, not round.
And the four wheels were under the rims, and the hands of the wheels were in the stand; and the height of the one wheel was a cubit and a half.
And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their hands, their rims, their spokes, and their hubs, everything was cast.
And there were four shoulders to the four corners of the one stand; the shoulders were of the stand itself.
And in the head of the stand was the half of the cubit of height round about; and over the head of the stand were its hands and its rims, of itself.
And he carved on the plates of its hands and on its rims cherubim, lions, and palm figures, according to the bare space of each, with wreaths all around.
In this way he made the ten stands: one casting, one size, one shape, for all of them.
And he made ten basins of bronze; each basin held forty baths; each basin was four cubits; one basin on each stand, for all ten stands.
And he set the stands, five on the right shoulder of the house, and five on the left shoulder of the house; and the sea he set at the right shoulder of the house, eastward, facing the south.
And Hiram made the basins, the shovels, and the bowls. So Hiram finished making all the work that he did for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh:
two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the head of the pillars; and the two latticeworks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the head of the pillars;
and the four hundred pomegranates for the two latticeworks, two rows of pomegranates for each latticework, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the face of the pillars;
and the ten stands, and the ten basins on the stands;
and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;
and the pots, the shovels, and the bowls; and all these utensils that Hiram made for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh were of polished bronze.
In the round region of the Jordan the king cast them, in the packed loam of the ground, between Succoth and Zarethan.
And Solomon left all the utensils alone, because the abundance was so very, very great; the weight of the bronze was never found out.
And Solomon made all the utensils that were in the house of Yahweh: the altar of gold, and the table of gold on which was the food of the faces;
and the five lampstands on the right, and five on the left before the inner sanctuary, of closed-up gold; and the blossom, the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
and the basins, the snuffers, the bowls, the hollow dishes, and the fire-pans, of closed-up gold; and the hinges for the doors of the inner house, for the holiest place, and for the doors of the house, for the temple, of gold.
So all the work that King Solomon did for the house of Yahweh was completed; and Solomon brought in the holy things of David his father, the silver, and the gold, and the utensils, and put them in the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
