Dare anyone of you, having a matter against the other, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the holy ones?
Or surely you know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy of the smallest cases?
Surely you know that we will judge messengers? Surely not ever even the things of this life?
Things of this life indeed, so, as to judgment, if you shall have, the ones despised in the assembly, those you set up!
To your shame I say this. Thus is there not among you anyone wise, who will be able to decide in between his brother?
Instead, brother goes to law against brother, and this before unbelievers!
Therefore already indeed altogether it is a defeat in you, for you have lawsuits among yourselves. Because of why surely rather suffer wrong? Because of why surely rather be defrauded?
But you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and this thing to brothers!
Or surely you know that the unrighteous ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor homosexuals,
nor thieves nor coveters, not drunkards nor revilers nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus the Anointed One and by the Spirit of our God.
But all things are lawful to me, not all things do profit; but all things are lawful to me, I myself will not be mastered by anything.
The foods for the belly, and the belly for the foods; but God will destroy both this and these. And the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body;
and God both has raised up the Lord and will raise us out through his power.
Surely you know that your bodies are members of the Anointed One? Then having taken the members of the Anointed One, shall I make them members of a prostitute? Never would it be!
Or surely you know that who is being joined to the prostitute is one body? For the two, it says, will become into one flesh;
But the one being joined to the Lord is one spirit.
Flee the sexual immorality. Every sin whatever, if a man shall do, is outside the body; but the one sinning sexually sins against their own body.
Or surely you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own?
For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which is of God.
