And I myself, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to infants in the Anointed One.
I gave you milk to drink, and not solid food; for you were not yet able, in fact not even now are you able;
for still you are fleshly. For where among you are jealousy and strife and dissensions, are you not surely fleshly and walking according to man?
For when one may say, I myself indeed am of Paul, however another, I myself of Apollos, are you not human?
Then who is Apollos, and who is Paul, other than servants through whom you trusted, also to each as the Lord has given.
I myself planted, Apollos watered, but God was growing it;
so neither the one who plants is anything nor the one who waters, but only the One giving growth — God;
Now the one who plants and the one who waters are one, now each will receive his own wage according to his own labor.
For we are fellow workers of God; you are God’s field, God’s building.
According to the favor of God which has been given to me, as a wise master builder I laid the foundation, however another is building upon it. However each one should take heed how he builds upon it.
For no one is able to lay another foundation besides the one being already laid, which is Jesus the Anointed One.
Now if anyone builds upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
the work of each will become manifest; for the day will disclose it, because in fire it is revealed, and the fire itself will prove what sort the work of each is.
If the work of anyone which he built up will remain, a wage he will receive;
if the work of anyone will be burned up, he will suffer loss, however he himself will be saved, so however as through fire.
Surely you know that you yourselves are temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which you yourselves are.
No one should deceive himself; if anyone among you thinks himself to be wise in this age, he should become foolish so that he may become wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it has been written: He is the One who catches the wise in their craftiness;
and again: The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.
Therefore no one should boast in men; for all things are yours,
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things being present or things to come — all is yours —
now you of the Anointed One, now the Anointed One of God.
