Corinthians11

Be imitators of me, even as I myself also am of the Anointed One.

Now I commend you, brothers, that in all things you have remembered me, and even as I delivered the teachings to you, you are keeping them.

However, I want you to know that the head of every man is the Anointed One; now the head of the woman is the man; now the head of the Anointed One is God.

Every man praying or prophesying, having anything on his head, dishonors his head.

Now every woman praying or prophesying with the head uncovered dishonors her head; for it is one and the same with her who is shaven.

For if a woman does not cover her head, she should also be shorn; now if it is disgraceful to a woman to be shorn or to be shaven, she should cover her head.

For a man indeed ought not to cover the head, being the image and glory of God; however the woman is the glory of man.

For man is not of woman, but woman of man;

truly, for man was not created on account of the woman, but woman on account of the man.

Because of this the woman ought to have authority on the head, on account of the messengers.

However, neither is woman without man, nor man without woman, in the Lord;

for just as the woman is of the man, so also the man is through the woman; however all things are of God.

Judge in yourselves: is it becoming for a woman to pray to God revealed?

Or does not even the nature itself teach you that a man indeed, if he shall have long hair, it is a dishonor to him,

however a woman, if she shall have long hair, it is glory to her? For the long hair has been given to her instead of a covering.

Now if anyone is inclined to be contentious, we ourselves have no other such custom, nor the assemblies of God.

Now in this, commanding, I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.

For first indeed, you coming together in an assembly, I hear there to be divisions among you, and in part I trust it;

for it behooves also factions to be among you, so that also the approved may become evident among you.

Therefore your coming together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's supper;

for in the eating, one takes his own supper first, and this one indeed is hungry, however that one is drunken.

Surely indeed you have houses in which to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the assembly of God, and put to shame those having nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you!

For I myself received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, in the night in which He was betrayed, took bread,

and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, take, eat: this is my body which is being broken for you; perform this in remembrance of Me.

Likewise also the cup, after the having supped, saying: this cup is the new covenant in My blood; perform this, as often as when you shall drink it, in remembrance of Me.

For as often as when you shall eat this bread and may drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until that when He may come.

Therefore whoever may eat this bread or may drink the cup of the Lord unworthily of the Lord, will be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.

However, a man should examine himself, and in this manner he should eat of the bread and he should drink of the cup;

for eating and drinking unworthily, not discerning the body of the Lord, he eats and he drinks judgment on himself.

Because of this, many among you are weak and sick, and many are fallen asleep.

For if we ourselves were judging, then we would not come under judgment;

however, being judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

So then, my brothers, coming together in order to eat, wait for one another;

now if anyone is hungry, he should eat at home, so that you may not come together for judgment. And the other things, as soon as when I may come, I will set in order.
