Chronicles20

It happened at the time of the return of the year, at the time the kings go out, that Joab drove the army of the host and ruined the land of the children of Ammon; he went and besieged Rabbah, while David dwelled in Jerusalem. And Joab struck Rabbah and tore it down.

David took the crown of their king from upon his head, and found it its weight a talent of gold, and in it a precious stone; and it was on the head of David. And he brought out the plunder of the city, very much.

He brought out the people who were in it and sawed with the saw, with sharp tools of iron, and with saws; and so David did to all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.

It happened after this that war stood up at Gezer with the Philistines; then Sibbecai the Hushathite struck down Sippai, one of those born of the Rephaim, and they were humbled.

There was war again with the Philistines, and Elhanan the son of Jair struck down Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, and the wood of his spear was like a beam of weavers.

There was war again at Gath, and there was a man of size, and his fingers were six and six, twenty and four; and he also was born to Rapha.

He reproached Israel, and Jonathan the son of Shimea, the brother of David, struck him.

These were born to Rapha in Gath, and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his slaves.
