¹⁶And their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the children of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

¹⁷And Abigail bore Amasa, and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

¹⁸And Caleb the son of Hezron fathered by Azubah a woman, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

¹⁹And Azubah died, and Caleb took Ephrath for himself, and she bore Hur to him.

²⁰And Hur fathered Uri, and Uri fathered Bezalel.

²¹And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he had taken, and he was sixty years old; and she bore Segub to him.

²²And Segub fathered Jair, and he came to have twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

²³And Geshur and Aram took the tent-villages of Jair from them, along with Kenath and its villages, sixty cities. All these were the children of Machir the father of Gilead.

²⁴And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-ephrathah, the wife of Hezron, Abijah, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

²⁵And the children of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.

²⁶And Jerahmeel had another wife, and her name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

²⁷And the children of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

²⁸And the children of Onam were Shammai and Jada, and the children of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.

²⁹And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.

³⁰And the children of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. And Seled died without children.

³¹And the children of Appaim: Ishi. And the children of Ishi: Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan: Ahlai.

³²And the children of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. And Jether died without children.

³³And the children of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the children of Jerahmeel.

³⁴And Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters; and Sheshan had a slave, an Egyptian, and his name was Jarha.

³⁵And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his slave as a wife, and she bore Attai to him.

³⁶And Attai fathered Nathan, and Nathan fathered Zabad.

³⁷And Zabad fathered Ephlal, and Ephlal fathered Obed.

³⁸And Obed fathered Jehu, and Jehu fathered Azariah.

³⁹And Azariah fathered Helez, and Helez fathered Eleasah.

⁴⁰And Eleasah fathered Sismai, and Sismai fathered Shallum.

⁴¹And Shallum fathered Jekamiah, and Jekamiah fathered Elishama.

⁴²And the children of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he the father of Ziph; and the children of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

⁴³And the children of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

⁴⁴Shema fathered Raham, the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem fathered Shammai.

⁴⁵And the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

⁴⁶And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran fathered Gazez.

⁴⁷And the children of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

⁴⁸Maacah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

⁴⁹And she bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

⁵⁰These were the children of Caleb. The son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,

⁵¹Salma the father of Beth-lechem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

⁵²And there were children to Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half of the Manahathites.

⁵³And the clans of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from these went forth the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.

⁵⁴The children of Salma: Beth-lechem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.

⁵⁵And the clans of scribes who dwelled at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These were the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
