⁶And the children of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.

⁷And the children of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.

⁸The children of Ham: Cush, and Egypt, Put, and Canaan.

⁹And the children of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabteca. And the children of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

¹⁰And Cush fathered Nimrod; he began to be a mighty man in the land.

¹¹And Egypt fathered the Ludites, and the Anamites, and the Lehabites, and the Naphtuhites,

¹²and the Pathrusites, and the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came forth), and the Caphtorites.

¹³And Canaan fathered Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

¹⁴and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

¹⁵and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

¹⁶and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

¹⁷The children of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

¹⁸And Arphaxad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.

¹⁹And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the land was split; and the name of his brother was Joktan.

²⁰And Joktan fathered Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

²¹and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

²²and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

²³and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the children of Joktan.

²⁴Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

²⁵Eber, Peleg, Reu,

²⁶Serug, Nahor, Terah,

²⁷Abram, he is Abraham.

²⁸The children of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

²⁹These are their accounts: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

³⁰Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

³¹Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the children of Ishmael.

³²And the children of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham: she bore Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the children of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

³³And the children of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

³⁴And Abraham fathered Isaac. The children of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

³⁵The children of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

³⁶The children of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.

³⁷The children of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

³⁸And the children of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

³⁹And the children of Lotan: Hori and Homam; and the sister of Lotan was Timna.

⁴⁰The children of Shobal: Alyan, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.

⁴¹The children of Anah: Dishon. And the children of Dishon: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.

⁴²The children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. The children of Dishon: Uz and Aran.

⁴³And these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

⁴⁴And Bela died, and in his place Jobab the son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned.

⁴⁵And Jobab died, and in his place Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned.

⁴⁶And Husham died, and in his place Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck down Midian in the field of Moab, reigned; and the name of his city was Avith.

⁴⁷And Hadad died, and in his place Samlah from Masrekah reigned.

⁴⁸And Samlah died, and in his place Saul from Rehoboth on the River reigned.

⁴⁹And Saul died, and in his place Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned.

⁵⁰And Baal-hanan died, and in his place Hadad reigned; and the name of his city was Pai, and the name of his wife was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.

⁵¹And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,

⁵²chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

⁵³chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

⁵⁴chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
